WHAT: Knitwear 101 (learn how to knit)

WHEN:
Adult Session - Tues. 3/22/16 6pm-8pm

WHERE: TISSU Sewing Studio
COST: $20 (bring your own size 3 to 5 needles). We have yarn.
Space is limited!

WHY:
Local artist/humanitarian Kaitlyn Wall will teach you how to knit (don't worry we're all beginners!) for a wonderful cause.
Learn how to:

*Cast on/bind off
*Simple knit stitch (or practice other stitches if you know how)
*Consistency
*Good deed!

Every 2 weeks, 60 teddy bear scarves are knitted by local volunteers & donated to area hospitals. These knitted scarves are wrapped around teddy bears, making them more LOVEABLE. The hospital's teddy bear project are comfort items for children after being scanned for physical/sexual abuse.
