One of the most satisfying garments to sew is the blazer or jacket. We shy away from these seemingly more difficult projects due to the details & time involved. A blazer roughly takes about 4 hours total, from laying out the patterns to cutting & sewing.
If you give yourself 1 hour per week, you can create your very own, favorite fabric/color combination, perfectly-fitted jacket in a month! It is SO satisfying to see the finished product!!
PATTERN TIP: Break down challenging projects (jackets) into smaller, manageable parts. Our students begin with a sketch & focus on one section at a time, like armholes. Think of patterns as a fun puzzle!
